Small Business

Websites for small businesses that need the phone to ring

Most small business websites fail at one of three things: they load too slowly, they are painful on a phone, or it is not obvious what to do next. Fix those three and you are ahead of most of your competition before anything clever happens.

One job per page

Every page points at the thing you want: a call, a quote request, a booking. No dead ends, no contact page buried three clicks deep, no page that exists because a template had a slot for it.

Phone first, because that is where people are

Most people find a local business on a phone, standing somewhere, half distracted. If your site is slow or the number is hard to tap, they are already back on the search results.

Nothing for you to maintain

Hosting, updates and monitoring handled. You should be running your business, not logging in to patch a website or wondering why the contact form stopped working.

A site built around one action

Optimize Fitness is a Tampa coach whose whole site points at a single thing: the coaching application. Bold type, real training photography, and proof of results shown before the ask. Everything that would have diluted that decision was left out.

Questions I get asked

I already have a website. Is it worth replacing?

Sometimes the honest answer is no, and I will tell you that. If your current site loads fast, works properly on a phone and brings in work, keep it. If it fails any of those three, it is costing you more than a rebuild would.

What if I do not have a logo or photos?

Normal, and not a blocker. I can handle branding, and in the meantime I build with placeholders that look deliberate rather than unfinished. Real photos of your actual work always beat stock images, so take some when you can.

Who owns the site when it is done?

You do. The domain, the content and the code. I am not interested in holding anyone's website hostage, and you should be suspicious of anyone who structures it otherwise.
