Self Storage
Websites for self storage operators with more than one location
Multi location storage has a specific problem no template solves well: somebody searching does not care about your company, they care about the facility nearest them and whether it has the size they need. Everything depends on getting them to the right location fast.
Sort visitors to the right facility first
Location comes before everything else. A visitor who has to work out which of your five sites is nearest has already been given a reason to leave.
Sizes and pricing where people look for them
Unit sizes, climate controlled options, RV and boat storage, mobile units. The questions people actually have, answered on the page instead of behind a phone call.
One page per location, properly
Each facility gets its own page with its own address and details, which is also how you show up in local searches for each town rather than just your head office.
Five locations, two states
State Route Storage runs self storage, RV and boat, mobile units and climate controlled options across New York and Massachusetts. The site sorts visitors to the right facility first, answers the sizing and pricing questions on the page, and then gets out of the way.
Visit State Route StorageQuestions I get asked
Can it connect to our rental or management software?
Usually yes. Most storage management platforms offer either a rental widget or an API. Which approach is better depends on your platform, and it is worth deciding before the site is built rather than bolting it on after.
We only have one facility. Is this still relevant?
Yes, and it is simpler. A single location site still needs the sizing, pricing and availability questions answered clearly, plus a properly set up Google Business Profile for the town you are in.
How do we rank in each town we operate in?
A real page for each location, with that location's address and details, plus a separate Google Business Profile per facility. One page listing five addresses will not rank for any of the five.
